“The Dark
Knight” is a movie with an intensively dramatic story about a rich playboy who
wears a cape and a mask of a bat just to fight against criminals in the Gotham
city. This movie is the continuation of the British director Christopher
Nolan’s reinvention of the Batman story and it takes the story up to his primal
confrontation with the Joker – the main, devilish and the cleverest villain in
this movie. Christian Bale plays the role of Batman, Maggie Gyllenhaal takes
over the role of Rachel Dawes and Heath Ledger plays the role of the Joker.Bruce Wayne
is Batman – a multimillionaire and the main honor of the Wayne Enterprise
Companies. As Batman, he tries to defeat the worst criminals of Gotham city.
The Joker is the worst Batman’s nemesis and he is the worst and terrifying
wrongdoer in the plot. All the characters are living in the city of Gotham. It
is a cosmopolitan city that has been destroyed by corruption because of its
political and financial system.The
scenario of the movie is bleak, rainy and with the scenes happening, mainly, at
night.People who
watch films, which contain drama and adventures, will enjoy this film because
this kind of production can give us a sensation that all the ordinary people
can be a kind of hero trying to help people next to them. As Batman said in one
of the most epic scenes of the movie: you either die a hero or you live long
enough to see yourself become the villain. From my
point of view, I prefer to die as a hero!
